What's the Deal with Returns?
Returning items can be a real headache. Whether you bought a tee that don't fit or received a gift that just isn't your style, dealing with returns can be a frustrating experience. But fear not! We're here to help you navigate the world of returns with ease and a touch of humor.
Why Do Returns Matter?
Returns are a part of life. They happen to the best of us, and they're nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, returns are an essential part of the consumer experience. They give us the freedom to change our minds, try new things, and make sure we're truly satisfied with our purchases. Please keep in mind that we do not accept any item that has been washed or worn. We are a small, family-owned business-not Amazon, and any violation of this policy truly hurts our small business.
How Can I Make a Return?
Returning an item doesn't have to be a daunting task. Here are a few simple steps to help you make a return like a pro:
Step 1: Check out our Return Policy:
We ask that you look over your items carefully as soon as you receive them! But we get it, sometimes life gets in the way of doing things as fun as ripping open your new package of FUNventory the minute you receive it. But please look over your items and contact us WITHIN 7 DAYS of receiving your awesome stuff, if you need help, have a concern or would like to request a return. Absolutely no refunds on shipping. Customer is responsible for return shipping.
PLEASE NOTE (as of September 26, 2023, FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE "BABY-ON-THE-WAY" CLEANOUT SALE): ALL REGULAR PRICED ITEMS CAN ONLY BE RETURNED FOR STORE CREDIT; ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. No exceptions. We will gladly accept exchanges if the item is in stock, but please understand that during the sale, this option may not be available.
If you have an issue, concern, or problem with your order, please contact us first! Not social media ;) I promise, we care so much more about your shopping experience with us than any social platform does, and we will work hard to make it right!
Step 2: Gather the Necessary Items & Contact us!
Make sure you have everything you need for the return. This may include the original packaging, receipt, or any other documentation. Double-checking beforehand will prevent any last-minute surprises. Contact us with the issue (including any pictures if neccessary) at ginghamandgloss@gmail.com. Our response time is a little slower than usual at this time due to baby-on-way and the holidays, so please be patient with us at this time.
Step 3: Prepare for Battle
Okay, maybe not an actual battle, but it's always good to be prepared. Dress comfortably, bring a positive attitude, and arm yourself with a sense of humor. Remember, a smile can go a long way in making the return process smoother.
Step 4: Embrace the Unexpected
Sometimes, returns don't go as planned. Maybe the store doesn't carry the same item anymore, or perhaps they offer you store credit instead of a refund. Embrace the unexpected and see it as an opportunity for a new adventure. Who knows? You might discover something even better! Remember- we are NOT responsible for damaged, stolen or lost packages once it is in the carrier's hands. Please contact us for shipping details (if you did not receive them automatically-check your junk mail!), and we will happily send the tracking to you so that you may file a claim if you believe your package has been lost, stolen or damaged.
Step 5: Learn from the Experience
Every return is a learning opportunity. Take a moment to reflect on your purchase and the reasons behind the return. Was it a sizing issue? Did the product not meet your expectations? Use this knowledge to make better-informed decisions in the future.
Step 7: Share Your Story
Now that you've mastered the art of returns, why not share your experience with others? Write a review, post on social media, or simply tell your friends. Your insights can help fellow shoppers navigate the world of returns with confidence and a dash of humor.
Remember, returns are a natural part of the shopping experience. Embrace them, learn from them, and don't forget to have a little fun along the way. Happy returning!
Happy shopping friends!
